These Terms of Service govern the use of ChatGames, a web-based platform for interactive Twitch chat mini-games. By using this service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

ChatGames provides interactive mini-games (including Trivia, Hangman, and Mini Golf) that integrate with Twitch chat. The service is provided free of charge.

3. Account & Access

To use ChatGames as a streamer/host, you must log in with a valid Twitch account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Chat participants do not need an account on ChatGames — they interact through Twitch chat.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the service
• Use automated tools (bots) to manipulate game outcomes, except as part of normal Twitch chat moderation
• Impersonate other users or engage in harassment

5. Limitation of Liability

ChatGames is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or damages arising from the use of this service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence. This does not affect mandatory statutory liability.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights to the ChatGames software, design, and branding remain with the operator. User-generated content during games (chat messages, game moves) remains the property of the respective users.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for users who violate these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.
