Trivia for your chat

A live quiz where the whole chat answers at once by typing a single number. Thirteen categories with full question banks in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and French, a harder Pro bank, picture rounds, a Daily Trivia every channel plays that day, and question packs you write yourself. Live vote bars run while the timer does, and a number question settles a tie at the top.

How a round works

  1. 1

    Pick what to play

One of 13 categories, a mix of pictures, today's Daily Trivia or your own question pack. Or run !poll and let chat pick from four random categories in a real Twitch poll.

  2. 2

    Five-second countdown

No join needed. Everyone watching can answer from the first question.

  3. 3

    Chat answers with one number

Type 1, 2, 3 or 4. Only the first character counts, so '2 lol' still scores. One answer per viewer per question.

  4. 4

    The timer decides

When time is up the right answer is revealed, the leaderboard updates, and after eight seconds the next question starts on its own. A right answer is worth 10 points.

  5. 5

    Streaks and a double finale

Three right answers in a row light a flame next to your name and start a bonus that grows to +5 per answer. The last question counts double. Both can be switched off.

  6. 6

    Tiebreaker

If two or more viewers tie for first, only they play a closest-guess number question; the fastest correct submission wins if the guesses match.

What viewers type in chat

1 / 2 / 3 / 4Your answer. Only the first character of the message is read, and you get one answer per question.
<number>In the tiebreaker, the tied leaders type a plain number — closest guess wins, fastest breaks a tie.
!pollMods: let chat vote on the category in a Twitch poll.
!daily onMods: play today's Daily Trivia.
!triviapack <id>Mods: load a question pack by its short ID, or off to go back to the categories.

Streamer settings

  • 13 categories, five languages

Capitals, Cars & Vehicles, Flags, General, Geography, History, IT, Movies, Music, Science & Nature, Sports, TV Shows and Video Games: about 1,550 questions in each language, plus 910 harder Pro questions.

  • Picture rounds

Mix pictures in, one question in three, or play only pictures: 256 silhouettes, close-ups and flags, each with four answers.

  • Your own questions

Write a pack of up to 50 questions at /trivia/packs, or start from the "How well do you know me?" template. Share it by code, no account needed.

  • Daily Trivia

Ten questions a day from all categories, three of them pictures, the same on every channel. New ones at midnight UTC.

  • International chat

One switch leaves out questions only one country would know, like US state capitals or German TV, for a chat from all over.

  • Chat picks the topic

!poll opens a native Twitch poll with four random categories for 60 seconds and applies the winner automatically.

  • Round length you control

1 to 100 questions (default 10) and 5 to 300 seconds per question (default 30). !pause stops the clock.

  • Runs itself

Auto-jump moves to the next question without input, so you can play along with chat instead of clicking.

Questions streamers ask

How do viewers answer?

They type the number of the option — 1, 2, 3 or 4. Only the first character is read, so extra words after the number are fine.

Can viewers change their answer?

No. The first answer per viewer per question is the one that counts, which is what keeps the live vote bars honest.

How is it scored?

10 points per right answer, no speed bonus, so a viewer who joins late can still catch up. With streaks on, the third right answer in a row and every one after it earn a bonus that grows to +5. With double points on, the last question counts twice.

What happens on a tie?

Only the tied leaders play a numeric tiebreaker question. Closest guess wins, and if two are equally close the faster submission takes it.

Can I write my own questions?

Yes. The pack editor at /trivia/packs takes up to 50 questions with 2 to 4 answers each, and has a "How well do you know me?" template. Paste the pack code in the Trivia menu, or get a short ID so a mod can load it with !triviapack.

What is Daily Trivia?

Ten questions a day, the same on every channel that plays it in that language, with three picture questions among them. A new set starts every day at midnight UTC.

Is German supported?

Yes. Every category has its own German question bank, and a mod can switch the whole site with !de between games.
