Mini Golf

Mini Golf with your chat

Every viewer gets a ball and plays the hole at the same time. A shot is one chat message with two numbers, an angle and a power, like 45 7. Build your own courses in the browser, play other streamers' courses, and run it all from chat while you talk.

How a round works

  1. 1

    Chat joins the round

Viewers type !join. With late join on they can drop in mid-course and take par+2 for the holes they missed.

  2. 2

    The hole opens

Every ball spawns in the tee box and everyone shoots at once — no waiting for turns.

  3. 3

    Aim with one message

<angle> <power>, no command needed: 0° is up, 90° is right, clockwise, and power runs 1 to 10 with decimals. You may shoot again as soon as your ball stops — one shot per second.

  4. 4

    The hole ends

When everyone is in, the clock runs out, or the grace period after the first ball drops. Not finishing costs par+3, capped at 10 strokes.

  5. 5

    Scorecard

Lowest total strokes wins in classic mode, and a four-second scoreboard plays between holes.

What viewers type in chat

!joinGet a ball. With late join on this works mid-course too.
<angle> <power>Your shot, once you have joined: angle 0-360 (0 = up, clockwise), then power 1-10. Decimals and a ° sign are fine. !shot 45 7 works too, and in Chatball it is how you vote.
!meHighlight your own ball.

Streamer settings

  • Four modes

Classic on strokes, Race where the first ten balls in the cup score 25, 18, 15 … points, Elimination that drops the worst score each hole, and Chatball where all of chat averages one shot on a single ball against the streamer.

  • Course builder and library

Design holes at /coursebuilder with walls, ramps, water, sand, ice, teleporters, bumpers and moving gates, then publish to the community library at /courses. The lobby also offers a course of the day and the most played community courses.

  • 42 holes built in

18 tutorial holes, the 18-hole Pro Tour and 6 Arcade holes: roll the ball into a hockey goal, or launch it off a jump pad through a basketball hoop.

  • Practice green

While the lobby is open, viewers who joined can take practice shots on a strip with the same physics as the real holes. Practice shots count for nothing.

  • Tuned for streams

Per-hole timer up to 15 minutes, a grace period after the first sink, a facecam-safe corner, optional ball collisions, and a 90-second AFK rule.

  • Twitch predictions

One prediction per round about the whole round, like a hole in one or a tie for first.

Questions streamers ask

How does a viewer aim?

One chat message with two numbers: 45 7 fires at 45 degrees with power 7. Zero degrees points up and the angle runs clockwise, so 90 is right, 180 is down.

Do players take turns?

No. Everyone shoots at the same time on the same hole, which is what keeps a 30-person round moving.

Can I use my own courses?

Yes. Build them at /coursebuilder, or load any community course with its ID using the lobby or !course <id> from chat. 42 holes ship built in: 18 tutorial holes, the 18-hole Pro Tour and 6 Arcade holes with hockey goals and basketball hoops.

What happens if someone goes AFK?

After 90 seconds without a shot the ball is auto-finished at par+3, capped at 10 strokes for the hole, so one idle viewer never stalls the round.

Does it work in OBS?

Yes. Mini Golf runs in the browser, so it works with OBS like every other ChatGames game.
