Chatdle
Chatdle
Wordle for your whole chat. One board sits in the middle of the stream, and every word chat is voting for floats around it with its vote count. When the timer runs out, the most-voted word is played. You don't have a board of your own: you talk chat through the colours, argue about the next guess, or vote in chat like everyone else.

How a round works
- 1
Pick a mode
Easy 5 plays five-letter words. Classic plays six words that grow from 3 to 8 letters. Daily plays today's word, the same in every chat.
- 2
Chat votes the next guess
Every viewer types a word of the board's length. Each word pops up next to the board with its votes, the leader biggest.
- 3
The leader is played
When the timer ends, the word with the most votes fills the next row. No votes at all? The timer just starts again.
- 4
Colours for everyone
Green is the right letter in the right place, yellow is in the word elsewhere, grey is not in it. High contrast colours swap them for orange and blue.
- 5
Six tries per word
Solve it and the next word comes up. Easy 5 is 1, 3, 5 or 10 words; Classic always six.
What viewers type in chat
crane | Any real word of the board's length is a vote for the next guess. A new word replaces your old vote. |

Votes you can see
Up to eight words float around the board with their vote counts, and the leading word already shows in the next row.
English and German
Easy 5 draws from about 1,900 English and 770 German five-letter answers, with 17,000 and 9,500 accepted guesses. Classic adds shorter and longer words. Umlauts can be typed as ae, oe, ue.
Daily Chatdle
One five-letter word a day, the same in every chat of that language. The end card shows how many chats played it today and how many tries the chats that solved it needed on average.
No wasted rows
A row is only played when somebody voted, so a quiet moment never costs chat a try. !pause freezes the clock, and votes typed meanwhile still count.
Questions streamers ask
How does chat guess?
By typing a word with as many letters as the board has. Each viewer has one vote, the latest word counts, and anything that is not a word in the list is ignored.
What if chat is split?
The most-voted word is played. On a tie, the word that got its first vote earlier wins.
Does the streamer play too?
Not on a board of their own. The streamer hosts: reads the colours out, discusses guesses, and can vote in chat like any viewer.
What if nobody votes?
Nothing is lost. The timer starts again until somebody types a word.
What is the Daily?
Today's five-letter word, the same in every chat that plays it in that language. A new one comes at midnight UTC, and the day's word never shows up in a normal game that day.
Which languages are there?
English, German, Spanish, Portuguese and French. A mod switches with !words en, de, es, pt or fr, otherwise the dashboard language is used. Accents are optional when you type.
