Word Rush
Seven to ten scrambled letters and a board of hidden words they spell. Your chat types words, one per message, and the first chatter to type a hidden word gets their name on its slot. Find enough before the clock runs out and the next level starts, with more letters and longer words. Miss the target and the run is over.

How a round works

A rack of letters comes up
Each level deals 7 to 10 scrambled letters and a board of 8 to 30 hidden words made from them, shortest first. The letters reshuffle on screen every 15 seconds, so chat sees them in a new order.

Chat types words
One word per message, nothing else in the line. The first chatter to type a hidden word fills its slot, and their name goes under it.

Reach the target
A bar shows how many words chat needs this level. Reach it before the clock runs out and the next level starts. Words still count for two and a half seconds after zero, for stream delay.

A hint when time runs low
With a third of the time left and the target still open, every empty slot shows its first letter.

Harder every level
More letters, a longer shortest word and a bigger share of the board to find, up to level 9. The run ends at the first missed target, or when chat clears the last level.

Streamer settings
Every find scores
A word scores one point per letter, and a word that uses every letter on the rack scores double. A real word from the letters that is not on the board still earns a bonus point.
The padlock
Once a chatter has filled 5 slots in a level, their next finds stay open for the rest of chat. It keeps one fast typer from taking the whole board. Set it anywhere up to 20, or switch it off.
English and German
About 9,000 English and 7,000 German board words, all common ones. Every board is built from its letters, and no rack comes up twice in one game.
Your length
1 to 20 levels (10 by default) and 30 to 300 seconds per level (90 by default). Mods set both from chat with !rounds and !timer, and !pause stops the clock.
Questions streamers ask
Do viewers need to join?
No. Anyone in chat can type a word, and there is no player limit.
What if two people type the same word?
The message that arrives first gets the slot and the points. For everyone after that, the word is already found.
What does the padlock do?
It limits how many board words one chatter can fill per level, 5 by default. After that, their finds stay open for others. Bonus words still count for them.
How does a run end?
When chat misses a level's target, or after the last level. Everyone who found words is ranked by points, and the best finders take the podium.
Can we play in German?
Yes. Pick German in the menu, or a mod types !words de. Umlauts can be typed as ae, oe and ue.
